Survey Parasitic of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with Special Reference to their Immune Status, Histopathological Aspects and Nutritional Values.

Fish farming characterizes a vital and healthy basis of protein for human nutrition. Presently, Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) is the second most elevated fish species worldwide, and its fillet plays an important role in the international occupation of fish meat. This study was performed to investigate the alterations that associated with infected Nile tilapia by parasites. The fish were observed for any clinical abnormalities, postmortem changes, biochemical and histopathological changes. There were significant changes in the evaluated physiological parameters in all infected groups than uninfected fish. The lesions were variable among the infected groups, however; lesions intensity was more pronounced in fish infected with both pathogens.
